About Me

Linnea Stevens, MA

(Lih-NAY-uh) She/Her/Hers

Hi! I'm Linnea. I create colorful, whimsical artworks in both traditional and digital media. My sources for inspiration include vintage comics, children's books, fairy tales, 2D animation, video games, and pinup art. My work often showcases my off-beat sense of humor and my niche interests.

I am also a professor with a passion for introducing art students to the invaluable resource of Art History. I developed curricula for History of Comics and History of Illustration, and also teach the History of Women Artists and Art History Survey.

I operate out of my home studio, and I'm actively involved in the arts scene of Dayton, OH. I've been featured in galleries and establishments across southern Ohio. Scroll down to see what events I'll be at this year!
